Doyle Lift Services are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This is a private limited company located in Carrickmines, Dublin.

This privacy notice sets out the basis on which we collect information from you and how we use information which we collect or which you provide to us. The information on our database will vary on a case by case basis and will contain some or all of the following which you will have supplied us with in the past. This includes information which we collect or that you provide manually or other online services and platforms.

We only collect information that we will use for the purposes set out in this notice.

Specifically we collect:

Information you submit to us:

  • Through forms, emails etc.
  • By speaking to us over the telephone

Information we collect about you:

  • Full details of the purchases and services you make from us, including the time and date of purchase, any relevant delivery address (es) and details of any relevant payment cards or bank details.
  • Access codes and keys for work site

The information we store is wholly related to the purpose of maintaining your lift portfolio, communicating with customers and for accounting purposes. Your information is not shared with any third party.

The information we store (contact details, address etc.) is for legitimate business purposes. Information is stored in our database in our secured offices in Carrickmines, Dublin.

GDPR Recruitment Information and Employee Data Records Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy covers the Doyle Lifts Services Recruitment Policy and Sage HR which is used for retaining employee data once prospective candidates become employees of Doyle Lifts Services.  It describes how we collect, protect and use the information we receive and store. Doyle Lift services is the data controller, whose head office is at Doyle Lifts Services, Unit 3 Carrickmines Manor, Glenamuck Road, Carrickmines, Dublin 18, Ireland.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information from you when you apply for position with our company or become employees of Doyle Lift Services.

For Recruitment Purposes; we may ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, postcode, job title, daytime and/or mobile phone number and information about your workplace and the nature of your business. As an employee of Doyle Lift Services all of the above will apply with additional information required such as bank details, driver’s license details.

Use of personal information:

We use the personal information we receive through job sites (indeed) for the purposes of:

Shortlisting job applications and recruiting for “legitimate interest” as candidates will have applied for the role and we have a legitimate interest in processing the information to see if they are suitable for the position.

Applications with profiling questions will have a check box/opt out box where individuals will need to give their “explicit consent” to process this data. Individuals have the right not to supply such data and they can still apply without filling this information and without prejudice.

Personal information we collect and store on Sage micro pay as employee records:

Once an employee has been successfully recruited, they have entered into a contract with Doyle Lift Services; we are therefore processing their data based on an “employment contract.”

Doyle Lift Services will only respond to requests for references for former employees if the new employer, has obtained the employee’s consent for certain categories of information in the reference.

Storage Period of Data

We will hold the personal data from all CV applications sent via email for 6MONTHS. These will then be erased/ deleted from our records and database.

Personnel Files – Sage micro pay Personal Data

We will hold the personal data on all employees whilst they remain an employee of Doyle Lift Services on SAGE micro pay.

When an employee leaves Doyle Lift Services, we will keep their record within Sage micro pay for TWELVE months after their leaving date. Additionally, we will ask the employee who is leaving if they wish us to provide references on them in the future.

  • Of Access -access requests
  • To Rectification – inaccurate change requests
  • To Erasure -all data deleted
  • Restrict Processing – stop processing
  • Data Portability – move to another organisation
  • To Object – automated decisions can be stopped
